Where Do The Gemstones Come From?

At Yoni Gemstones, we take great care in sourcing crystals that align with our values of quality and responsible practices. While we source our crystals through trusted suppliers, we remain committed to encouraging ethical mining practices and sustainability. However, due to the nature of global sourcing, full verification of mining conditions at the source is challenging.

Brazil – Quartz, Rose Quartz & Amethyst

Our quartz, rose crystals, and amethyst are sourced from Brazil, a country renowned for its rich deposits of high-quality minerals. We aim to work with suppliers who prioritize ethical practices and align with standards promoted by initiatives like the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA) and the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM), which advocate for responsible mining.

USA – Black Obsidian

Our black obsidian is sourced from the USA, where responsible mining practices are emphasized. While we cannot always verify the mining methods of every supplier, we support vendors who uphold ethical guidelines similar to those championed by organizations such as Earthworks, which promote sustainable and community-conscious extraction.

Our Commitment to the Environment

At Yoni Gemstones, caring for the environment is a core part of our mission. We’ve partnered with EcoCart to offer our customers the ability to offset the carbon footprint of their orders. This means that when you shop with us, you have the option to make your purchase more eco-friendly and reduce the environmental impact of shipping.

In addition, all of our packaging materials, including bubble wrap and paper, are recycled from our suppliers. We believe in reducing waste and reusing resources wherever possible to minimize our ecological footprint.

Although we cannot guarantee the conditions of every mine, Yoni Gemstones is dedicated to promoting responsible sourcing and transparency wherever possible. We encourage you to learn more about ethical practices from these organizations to better understand the impact of the industry.
